Today I’m Introducing Yasmin, the owner and creator of Skincare Sundays.

And what makes this introduction all the more sweet,

is that Yasmin launched Skincare Sundays today! 💥 🎉 🥳 🙌

I met Yasmin some years ago when we both worked for the same education system - she at a school and me at the central office. Our paths crossed a few times. Fast forward, and Yas reached out to me to photograph for her website and socials. Boy, did I love shooting her gorgeous skincare products.

I’m pretty sure you are going to love this brand!

Over to you Yas!

“I started Skincare Sundays as a way to find natural solutions for my Rosacea skin. I was looking for solutions that really delivered the results I was expecting. I had struggled from this condition for many years and tried so many different products and treatments but I never saw change.

Coming from a beauty background, completing my Diploma of Beauty in 2006 and having worked for numerous large beauty companies, I was aware of the many controversial ingredients and fillers that are used in different beauty products today. I wanted to seek better alternatives to help me and my skin. After thinking about what I wanted to create, I searched for a manufacturer in Australia who could help me develop products that are natural, vegan, cruelty-free and of course Australian made.

I started sharing my sample products with family and friends and the feedback was great so I thought I really need to get this product on the market and that’s where it all started.

It has had its many challenges. Starting a business whilst being a mum and working a 9-5 job is not easy. There have been many late nights trying to source packaging, design logos and build a website but I have always loved the creative side of things and have also got a lot of enjoyment out of it.

I think the most important thing I’ve learned in business is work hard and stay humble - and to remember the most successful people work 24 hours a day. Nothing comes easy, and nothing is handed to you.

My first range of products are formulated with skin sensitivity in mind. This soothing range features a blend of herbs and flowers including Rosehip oil, Jacaranda, Banksia flower, Calendula, Elderflower, Jasmine and Milk Thistle - the perfect combination for sensitive, stressed and delicate skins.

I’m so excited to have launched today!”
