this is me
My love of photography began a long time ago, well before digital anything was even a twinkle in anyone’s imagination. While creativity was a love and a passion, so too was education and it was this path that I chose as my career.
One might think that there’s little room for creativity in education. I see opportunity for curiosity, for imagination, for expressiveness and inspiration.
Finally in 2019, I decided to take a leap and started my photography business. I bring my love of learning, my creativity, inspiration and problem solving skills to my work. Each project I undertake is a new opportunity to create something unique and special.
This is my happy place - among the products and props, backgrounds and brands, lights and lenses - and alongside my greatest supporter and advocate - my partner Gary. Did I mention he’s my lighting guy and more often than not, my creative director? And no, he’s not available! Now, back to me . . . and my happy place.
I lied - there’s more than one. My happy places include:
the back of Gary’s motorbike, discovering the cafés in Sydney that serve the best breakfasts
riding my e-scooter
any fjord in Norway, canal in Amsterdam, ger in Mongolia and basically any O/S destination - oh, how I’ve missed travel in the last two years (Covid-19 be gone!)
anywhere where I can eat and/or photograph lemon meringue anything.
