I’m excited to share some photos I took for a client and fellow lady start up, who has just recently launched her business - Cheers Sweetie.
She offers something that might cheer you up (or someone you love), at the end of a hard day at work or as the perfect pick-me-up for the three o’clock slump.
Did Someone Say Cocktails And Lollies?
Yep. Cheers Sweetie has beautiful gift boxes filled with joy - your choice of a cocktail box or a lolly jar box - or both!
Disclaimer* - I may or may not have eaten my body weight in snakes, red frogs and m&ms before, during and after the photo shoot. And if you know anything about photographing glass, you will know that it is extremely challenging to get a shot without a refection of me and my camera or any other object for that matter, in the shot. So, I figured I deserved the sugar hit I got from every one of those red frogs.
And, if we’re on a confession binge, some alcohol may have been consumed in the making, styling and shooting of the cocktail products. I couldn’t just pour those drinks down the drain after photographing them, right? That would just be irreverent.
I figure that you could send one of these giftboxes to:
yourself - for one of those days when your morning forecast is ‘exceedingly exhausted with 100% chance of scattered sarcastic comments throughout the afternoon.’
a friend whose favourite machine at the gym is a vending machine. I reckon you would make his day by giving him his very own lolly jar.
a work colleague (and let’s face it, we all have this friend!) that only drinks on two occasions - when it’s her birthday, and when it’s not.
Last one - I promise! It’s also a perfect gift for someone you know that’s preparing for a public speaking event. According to most studies, people's number one fear is public speaking. Number two is death . . . Death. Is. Number. Two - Let that sink in. This means to the average person, if you go to a funeral, you're better off in the casket than doing the eulogy. Give that person a drink!
Ok, just one more - I decided to reward myself with a well-earned Margarita from Cheers Sweetie, after a long week. Then I realised it was only Tuesday. Morning.
Have a great week!
