Instagram Challenge

I’ve been participating in a 12-day food photography Instagram challenge hosted by @thelittleplantation. The challenge runs over four weeks with three posts each week relating to a theme.  There are over 1000 food photographers, food bloggers and food lovers who have participated. For many/most of us it was all about investing time into our learning, development and creative growth. I had to consciously plan and set aside the time in my week to create, play and experiment. One thing  I had to consciously do throughout the challenge was try not to compare my work with others. I had to create rather than compare and keep my eyes on my own path. That was my mantra. Oh, and I had to enjoy myself - which I did, to a point - when I was NOT comparing my photos to others.

Many of the entries have been out-of-this-world A M A Z I N G !
