I’m all about getting THE SHOTS that best capture the beauty and appeal of a product or creation. For my recent work for Creatively Squared, my brief was to create high-quality custom visuals for the Gillette brand, showcasing their new Venus Snap Shaver.

The brief  

Brand Aesthetic & Guidelines

Venus Snap is known to be a cute, pocket-sized shaver. This needs to come out in the visuals by styling it with props that show its small size compared to other lifestyle items.

Target Audience

Indian girls, 15-20 years old.

They have a young, playful, and edgy personality.

Colour Palette

Primarily Caribbean blue with other shades of blue and white.

Concepts

Lifestyle Product Flatlays

Product styled with props revolving around: beauty, travel / summer, on-the-go essentials, school, pocket-friendly.

Stylised Product Shots

Product styled with colour-blocked backdrops, bold shadows, reflective surfaces, and/or water cues. Props: Keep to minimal (eg. platforms / risers / blocks / plates only)

Product with Key Ingredients

Product styled with its 2 key ingredients - avocado & freesia flowers. Props: Keep to ingredient + minimal.
