You may remember that in early June, just before lockdown in Sydney, sue sinko photography had its 2nd birthday. To celebrate, I offered my fellow lady startups the chance to win a PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY package. You may also remember that the winner was the lovely Britt from Unlax Candles.
Fast forward a few months - after a loooong lockdown, a nerve-wracking computer crash, new Unlax labelling, and distance and I was finally able to deliver the images to Unlax Candles.
First, a little about Unlax Candles - their beautiful range of candles are hand poured, labelled and packaged with love in small batches from Breeza - a small village about 45 kilometres south east of Gunnedah in NSW. The candles are made from ethically and sustainably sourced 100% soy wax, cotton wicks and premium handcrafted fragrance oils. The range includes small, medium and large candles, travel tin candles, soy wax melts and reed diffusers.
So, as usual I started by chatting with Brooke about her vision for her brand and developed a mood board that represented the mood, colour palette and style of images for Unlax Candles. I used Canva to create the mood board. (See below)
I'm happy that I was able to visually capture the appeal of Unlax Candles’ range of products for their website and socials.
Oh, and Unlax Candles have also just released their newest fragrance - Mango and Papaya 🥭
